• Glendalough

Glendalough Valley was carved out by glaciers during the Ice Age and has two lakes, from which Glendalough gets its name, 'valley of two lakes', the upper being our venue.

  • Full of fun

There are plenty of places to swim! We are always looking for new locations to make every swim a new adventure.

Check back regularly for new events.

Welcome

Take your place at the water’s edge and challenge yourself!

Whether you're a seasoned open water swimmer, a tri-athlete looking for a personal best time in a beautiful location, or a first-timer wanting to take the plunge in a safe environment, we have the distance to suit you. All of our open water swims boast a safe, fun and relaxed atmosphere for you to take to the water.

To the Tri-Athletes; you will notice all our swims are tri- distance. Many people feel that the discipline they are most under prepared for on tri race days is the swim. All the time in the pool just doesn't translate to the open water and swimming in a pack. We offer the opportunity to practice without impacting on your Tri ranking. Help gain that lead for the bikes and set new Personal Bests (PBs).

Check out our upcoming events - whether you choose a race that's near, one that's far or decide to become part of the entire Open Water Swimmer league we look forward to meeting you.
